Frosty thoughts as Ottawa first major snowfall makes it’s way here. I am secretly glad, I love snow (it’s the ice that frightens me). What better way to celebrate this Christmas weather than with peppermint! So today, I made Two Layer Peppermint Bark. It’s super simple.

My mom loves pralines. So for her birthday I promised her a batch. I pulled out Jane Sharrock’s ‘Who Wants Candy?’ and chose the Creamy Pecan Pralines on page 60.
