Love your choice of curtains. Things are coming together very well. It will make a big difference downstairs, especially when you get the curtains up in the dining area.
I am going to have to try this one. It looks yummy and I am a big big fan of rice pudding.
An ex-boyfriend’s mother had a divine rice pudding recipe. It was very light tasting; perfect for summer but I never got the recipe from her. It is sad.
I have heard lately about people using to much sodium. I will try this recipe for myself, although we use very little salt in the first place. Every little bit helps.
The meal was delicious. The duck was very tasty. I thought you had put on different spices for taste and found out it was only a little salt and pepper. Just the right amount of food, as in the past I have made a mountain of food at this time of year it was almost ridiculous.
Great job Tamara. What a difference in the paint color. I hadn’t realized how dark the previous paint color was until I saw the pictures. It looks lovely.
Holy Moly!!!! This looks amazing!!!! I love the wall color and the dandelion looks unbelievable! I really want to use decals in the new place once we move and this did nothing to change my mind! So awesome!! Thanks for the Etsy shout out and link to the store too!!
Finally had a chance to use this on my own and it was lovely. So much better than the pre-packaged stuff. I have to remember to send the recipe to my mom.
I love the colour. I can hardly wait to see the finished product, especially once you get the leathered look on the walls. You and Chris is are doing a great job. It is so exciting.
I just did the bulk of our cards on Tuesday evening. I will be sending cards up until the week of Christmas. I even received one for your grandmother yesterday.
It’s good to hear from you again though I completely understand how life can throw curveballs into blogging and on-line time.
I hope you do get a chance to take on your lunchtime tourist project. It sounds really interesting and I look forward to hearing about what you find. If you remember to bring your camera along, I will also look forward to seeing what you find. :D
I was thrilled to read new material from you, as it has been quite a while. I hope you get back into the Lunchtime Tourist business again, as I’m sure you will.
Sorry about that. I thought when you went out to do some photography on your lunch hour that it had already started, or was that just an idea at the time.

Ooh, I bet homemade pitas are waaaay better than store pitas.
stunning photo!
I for one.. will be jealous of your composting! Throwing food scraps into the garbage is one of my Ottawa pet peeves.
Yay these look great! also nice collection of glasses!
Thanks, I received all the glass and the silver tray from my grandmother when she moved.
Your shelves look really good above the computer desk. It really cleans up the space nicely.
Great job.
I love the etched look. A nice glass container would definitely look very elegant any time of year.
Very tasty little morsals of bun.
That is the sweetest comment ever.
This morning I tried your hot cross buns. They are delicious. We will certainly enjoy them.
Love mom

Well done
Thank you! When you’re over on Sunday, you can help me figure out what to do with that last window.
I’ve been working in the kitchen (making dessert for Sunday’s dinner) and the light is fantastic!
Love it!

The cherry pie looks scrumptious. Can hardly wait to try a piece.
I appreciate the tribute in your grandmothers memory.
Thank you
Less than 24 hours and it’s all yours.
Wish I could try a piece!
Handsome pie indeed. It was one of my favourite. What a nice daughter.
That would be a great idea for my next birthday. Hint Hint
Subtle.
I’ll be on the outlook for an ice cream maker then.
I am glad you liked it. September’s pie might be even better…

I think about 5 people read my journal but I do what I can :)
I am very happy with the studio but another big project has come up so it will be a few weeks before I can enjoy any time in it. Stay tuned…

What no picture.
One second, I had guests.
Jeez, mom, you’re pushy :)
Thanks! We’ll probably be working on the walls for another week.
Thank you. Your chocolate pudding looked delectable.
What are the chances that some of those are making it to my place later? I *Love* PB cookies!!! :D
A very good chance :) They are snuggled in the freezer waiting to be delivered.
Looking great so far. I can hardly wait to see the leather glaze effect on the walls. Great job to both of you.
I think there is a good chance that something will be dropped into your stocking.
I hope so!
Thanks for the link and the photo. I still haven’t sent my cards out so I guess I’m really late!
It looks really good. Very festive.
I just did the bulk of our cards on Tuesday evening. I will be sending cards up until the week of Christmas. I even received one for your grandmother yesterday.
I still have a lot to do, but I got a good start on them.
Sorry to hear you received one for Grandma. We’re going to miss her so much this year.
Wait until you taste it, it totally passed the taste testing here last night.
It sounds like a wonderful way to wind down any hectic day. yum yum
I just got a bottle of Bailey’s for my b-day. I will be opening it after the crazy move!
You can’t go wrong with prezels and such. Looks good.
I hope I get to taste at least one. They look very sinful.
You can tell you don’t have kids – those bears wouldn’t stand a chance at my house!
Very pretty!
I don’t think the bears would mind being played with but, you’re right, I am taking advantage of the situation. :)
Pretty!
Thank you, I had a hard time getting a good picture, I hope to later this week.
The mantle looks stunning. I love the blue color.
I bet the chocolate combined with the peppermint will be very good.
The room looks amazing. It makes a great difference in color when the the glaze is applied.
They look delicious. It seems like a lot of work.
Your photography is lovely. Now that you are working downtown you will have lots of opportunities to take photo’s at lunch time.
Very interesting outcome between the dyes and the ink. I like the dyes better, probably because there is more color involved.

Aww, thanks!
Stay tuned, my first post as the Lunchtime Tourist will be this Wednesday!

What a difference lighting makes in a room. Your bathroom is much brighter.
Great job!
You’re ahead of me! The Lunchtime Tourist is a new idea, but I’m glad to hear you’re excited about the new project!
Sorry about that. I thought when you went out to do some photography on your lunch hour that it had already started, or was that just an idea at the time.
I love it. You have a very interesting cubicle with things that you love. What a nice idea to make it your own.
Thanks Mom!
